Southwark Giving is thrilled to have over 10 runners in The Big Half race running in aid of Southwark Giving!
Southwark Giving is delighted to have over 10 runners generously dedicating their time and energy to raise money for Southwark Giving’s Fund.
On Sunday, 4 March 2018 in the first ever London half marathon -‘The Big Half’, our runners will start their race at iconic Tower Bridge, Southwark and finish at Cutty Sark, Greenwich.
Created by London Marathon Events Ltd this brand new event is a race solely centred around the community with a “uniquely local” focus. This is to ensure genuine community engagement of local people, while at the same time hosting global runners in this prestigious and competitive event.
Southwark Giving’s Fund will help unite the borough to tackle local disadvantage. It will do this by supporting the charities and voluntary organisations who help those most in need in Southwark.
Every pound raised goes only to those who Southwark Giving is seeking to help.
You can support our runners by donating here. Thank you.
We would like to thank all our runners for their generosity in supporting Southwark Giving and wish each of them the very best of luck for the big day!
NB: Southwark Giving is still in development but we are fundraising for the Fund but grants are not yet available.
